Dr. David & Rita Sanders and family

Dr. David Sanders received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1985 from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, graduating first in his class.  In Philadelphia he studied family systems with Ivan Böszörményi-Nagy (Contextual Family Therapy), with Salvador Minuchin and Harry Aponte (Structural Family Therapy) and with Susannah Bullrich (Systemic Family Therapy).

He served as Chief Psychologist in a suburban hospital in Abington, PA and as the Director of Behavioral Science for St. Anthony Family Medicine in Denver.   He has seen over 1500 clients spanning a 27 year career. Dr. Sanders has taught at the graduate level in the Doctor of Psychology programs at Hahnemann University and at Denver University.  In addition to his practice, Dr. Sanders is the founder and director of Kabbalah Experience in Denver, a spiritual education center.

Dr. Sanders is married and has five children, including two sets of twins. His new family of seven consists of three older adolescents and two toddlers.
